I have the Persian carpet hung upon my wall. My partner says which the carpet is nauseous as well as which unresolved rugs upon the wall — nauseous or not — is run-down anyway. we consider the carpet is attractive, as well as which unresolved rugs upon the wall in ubiquitous is the ideally non-tacky process of decorating one’s house.
What do we think?

I think you’re screwed! This question should have been asked in the philosophy category. It’s your place your castle, you decide what is tacky or not. That being said if you still want to get any, I strongly suggest you remove ugly tacky rug. Unless you can get new girlfriend who doesn’t mind rug on wall
It would be classier to have it on the floor.
I agree with your girlfriend. I would put it on the floor, maybe in a place where there is not alot of traffic through your home, if you value it that much. Maybe put it in your office or somewhere in your space, where your girlfriend doesn’t see it often. lol. good luck with that.
I vote for tacky.
I’ve seen attractive wallpaper, but I wouldn’t put it on my floors.
Yes, tacky!!! Only rugs I’ve ever seen on walls that didnt look tacky were made my SW American Indians and hung on walls or over railings from 2nd floor railing or on very high wall in a Southwesten type/style home — not in a regular house. As for persians — not on walls — floors, try dinning room. Is it really an ugly design or color(s) — sell it on ebay !!! Keep girlfriend — she has taste !!!
If you like it, tell her too take a flying leap. Find a better one, that likes what you like. This relationship is bound for trouble, unless you want to be a sitcom husband that lets the woman rule everything. Me, I would have done told her that I like it, if she doesn’t, get the **** out of here. But then I’m old and don’t give a **** about too much these days.
It depends entirely on how you have hung it, and light it. Ive seen it where it looks exquisite, and Ive seen it where it looks tacky. If you could show a picture of it, that would be better.
if it is your home and you pay the bills you can do what you want
well, it really depends on what the rug makes your room look like. but generally speaking, persian rugs are fairly expensive and thats why people hang them on the wall, so you arent the only one who does this! but again, it really depends on the rug!
