Don’t buy the rug as an investment. Buy it because you like the rug.
Investing in “collectibles”, in my opinion, is not very wise. Investing in coins, stamps, baseball cards ad infinitum, is not a way to get rich slowly. Invest in these things only if you like them and want to collect them, not as an investment.
